The formula uses a polynomial equation based on body weight and sex to generate a coefficient, which is multiplied by the total weight lifted.
Tips & Best Practices
- •A score of 300 is decent for a recreational lifter.
- •400+ is competitive, and 500+ is elite level.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Wilks still used?
It is still popular, though the IPF technically replaced it with IPF Points and then GL Points. Wilks remains the standard for informal comparison.
