Wallpaper Calculator
Calculate the number of wallpaper rolls needed for a room
Wallpapering requires careful estimation, especially with patterned papers where matching creates waste. This calculator tells you how many single or double rolls you need.
Calculator Inputs
Sum of all walls
inches (imp) or cm (met)

How It Works
We calculate the number of "drops" (strips) needed based on wall width, then calculate how many drops you can get per roll, accounting for pattern repeats.
Tips & Best Practices
- •Standard US rolls are 21 inches wide and 16.5 feet long (single) or 33 feet long (double).
- •European rolls are often 52cm wide and 10m long.
- •Always assume some waste for trimming at the top and bottom.
Frequently Asked Questions
